PUSH: A Flurry of New Posts

There has been a flurry of activity on the PUSH: Pennsylvanians United for Single Payer Healthcare since my last update with a variety of posts by new bloggers Trenita Finley, Chris Singh, Neal Caldwell, MaryPat Donegan, Theresa Chalich, and Lloyd Stires

Trenita Finley has written to promote her fundraiser for PUSH here:

Duquesne University Healthcare 4 All PA Fundraiser

Lloyd Stires and Chris Singh have written on the Supreme Court deliberations on the Affordable Care Act at:

Protecting the Parasites: The Irony of Obamacare

Hope for Single-Payer?

Neal Caldwell has written a poignant essay on his experiences volunteering at the PUSH office at:

Social Justice & Injustice in the Field of Healthcare

Theresa Chalich wrote a powerful letter to the editor in the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette which was reprinted on the PUSH blog at:

Our cruel system

Finally director MaryPat Donegan has written a couple of important posts on a fundraising appeal for PUSH at:

Plus she has written a request for proposals for an Economic Impact Study to show the cost effectiveness at:

Request for Proposals for EIS on PA Single Payer

Last Sunday I went to The Heinz History Center to see a documentary titled We Are All Immigrants.  On the first floor they were having a benefit spaghetti dinner for a woman who had breast cancer.  I was thinking that such a benefit would be totally unnecessary under a single payer system.

PUSH: Religious Freedom and Single Payer Health Care Reform
